The average human head weighs about 10 pounds when held upright. This load puts more and more strain on the neck and spine with every inch you move your head forward. Unfortunately, many of us do exactly that when we’re working on the computer or texting. This class focuses on eliminating the added tension in our necks. We will also strengthen the core, expand the chest and align the spine. This relieves our compressed diaphragms, aids the capacity of our breath, and give us the tools and awareness for better posture.
